Up or Down?

Oh wow, look at the great view from the bottom! Who said you don't have to ride a squeaky elevator (i prefer stairs) to find the great view? Well, I don't know, but I'm absolutely FINE with staying down here.

My book is going very well, I have about 6 pages, as this is my third day, I think. Last night I transformed a meaty sub to a nice vegetarian one. I took off the chicken of the half sub, and put greek olives, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and cucumber on it instead. (also light mayonnaise)
Enjoy the recipe while I prepare to cook cookies!!!
(would you go to the top for a great view, or the bottom for the best?)

Recipe #4 - Sunday's Special

Click Labels: Recipes to view all of the recipes created so far. Thank you.
You're in for a treat! Not edible this time! This is Sunday's Special, and it will happen every week.
This skin recipe is from my own personal experience...

Caring for your skin. Water isn't enough, people! Here's a fun mask:

Scrub-a-Dub-dub

Ingredients  Needed:
-Real Mayonnaise (with the fat)
-Sand (clean sand from a craft store)
-Medium sized bowl

Okay--First, get a medium sized bowl, depending on how many people and mayonnaise you plan to serve. Then for each person pour about 1 1/2 cups of mayonnaise, and about 3 tbsp. of sand.
Next, you'll want to mix the two ingredients thoroughly together to make a nice, smooth, scrub. Either use your hands or a spoon, it doesn't matter. Spread it around, keeping away from the eyes, and if you don't like mayonnaise, mouth, too.

Fact: The mayonnaise is full of fat that hydrates your skin. Mixing it with the sand creates a fatty scrub that gets the dead skin and hydrates the new skin! Enjoy!

I admit to it. I was super bored. So I took this. And I shall put it up on the wall of shame...
If you know the book: The Outsiders - S.E. HINTON, then you will know where my sudden inspiration came from to start typing away at the computer. I've decided to type 2 pages each day, for 12 weeks. That's 168 pages total. Twelve possible chapters, each 14 pages long. That's what I'm aiming for. And look for the recipe of the day!!!

Love lots,

Frog Sandwich
xxx (messy!)

Ingredients you will need:

A jar of smooth peanut butter. (Jiff is what I like most)
Pickles-optional
Original Sun Chips
Potato or any other type of bread

Okay, follow these steps:

1) Spread the smooth peanut butter on BOTH slices of the bread.

2) Take out about 4 or 5 Sun chips and press them down on ONE slice of the bread.

3) This is optional. If you like sweetness, then spread about 2 or 3 pickles on the other slice of the bread.

Now smack the two slices of bread together!!! Bon appetit!

Pre-Raw food

It's time to announce my being in this situation, even though I have NO idea WHAT i just said!!
I'm sick again today, funny huh? Being a vegetarian is supposed to ward off disease. Anyway, to help me on this strange (secret) journey, I looked up some books. Here's one:
-Everyday Raw
Eating raw is a vital part of being a veg. I'm having tofu pad thai for dinner tonight!!

Title:

I'm just sitting at my computer, feeling sorry for my dog, and looking up pictures of my favorite movie. The Outsiders. Anyway, I'm doing yoga in my chair, meditating, and am finished with my veggie burger.
I'm on the hunt to ask a doctor if being a vegetarian can ward off disease. If so, then a project has opened up before my eyes. Wish me luck...
So I guess that this is day one of the yoga, veggies, and plenty of V8. I'm hoping to interview brain tumor/cancer survivors and hear their stories. Look for the gray ribbon on special jars in stores in Del Ray, VA. Hmph. Stupid flu. I mentioned that, right?

Why again?

I can't believe that I'm even doing this. I mean, when you face the facts then I guess it's okay to think some more.
I recently read a page of a website that said: Why Go Veg?
I read it.
Mistake.
It's convinced me because of THESE reasons people: (Read on!)

-You'll ward off disease
-You'll keep your weight down (not that i care)
-You'll live longer
-You'll build strong bones
-You'll reduce your risk of food borne illness
-You'll have more energy
-You'll be more regular on your fiber. That's right, waste.
-You'll help reduce pollution
-You'll avoid toxic chemicals
-You'll help reduce famine
-You'll spare animals
-You'll save money
-Your dinner plate will be full of color
-It's a breeze

So what do you think? I want to live longer, save money, get stronger bones. I've made a decision. Right now, a secret one. I'm going veg. (Except for seafood because I love crab and lobster and fish and SUSHI!!) Good bye, meat, or should I say hello to more cows?
